Dr. Marrium Haroon is an accomplished Board Certified Periodontist and Implant Surgeon with a deep commitment to dental education and patient care. Since graduating from dental school in 2012, Dr. Haroon has continuously expanded her knowledge and skills through advanced training and research. Her dedication to the field is evident in her numerous achievements and contributions.

One notable aspect of Dr. Haroon's professional journey is her research on the impact of dental awareness on the oral hygiene practices of medical and dental students. She has presented her findings at the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and has even published her research in reputable journals. Dr. Haroon's work sheds light on the importance of dental education and its influence on oral health habits.

Beyond her research, Dr. Haroon has actively engaged in charitable dental initiatives. She has volunteered her time and expertise with Give Kids A Smile, an organization that provides dental care to underprivileged children. Additionally, she has participated in Mission of Mercy events in New Jersey, delivering much-needed dental services to individuals in underserved communities. Dr. Haroon's commitment to giving back highlights her compassionate nature and dedication to improving oral health accessibility.

To further enhance her skills, Dr. Haroon pursued a fellowship in Periodontics and Implantology at the University of Kentucky. This program allowed her to delve deeper into the specialized field of periodontics and gain expertise in implant placement. During her time at the Mission Clinic in Lexington, Kentucky, Dr. Haroon provided comprehensive dental care, including periodontal treatments and implant surgeries.

Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Dr. Haroon undertook a rigorous three-year residency program in periodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). This program not only refined her clinical skills but also provided her with an opportunity to contribute as a chief resident. At UIC, she obtained a master's degree in oral sciences, further solidifying her knowledge in the field of periodontics.

Dr. Haroon's residency training at UIC also included extensive training in IV moderate sedation. This specialized skill allows her to provide a comfortable and anxiety-free experience for patients who may require additional support during dental procedures. Her proficiency in sedation dentistry ensures that patients receive the highest level of care while maintaining their comfort and well-being.

In 2022, Dr. Haroon achieved a significant milestone by successfully placing over 2000 dental implants and restoring over 300 full arches using the All-on-4 technique. This demonstrates her expertise and proficiency in implant dentistry, particularly in the revolutionary All-on-4 method. Dr. Haroon's exceptional implant placement and restoration skills enable her to transform patients' smiles and restore their oral function.

 Dr. Haroon is a Board-Certified Periodontist and Implant Surgeon. A Board-Certified Periodontist and holds a Diplomate with the American Board of Periodontology. Board-Certified Periodontists are members of a distinguished group of practitioners who have made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty. 

 Board certification represents a personal and professional commitment to the standards of periodontics and to continued growth through ongoing education. Diplomates are required to maintain certification through continuing education and periodic testing, which demonstrates a commitment to lifelong learning and requires Diplomates to continually update their knowledge and skills.

 In addition to achieving significant educational milestones for herself, Dr. Haroon is also actively involved in educating fellow dentists and providing CE courses on Implant placement and bone grafting and soft tissue grafting. She has recently provided CE courses in partnership with some of the largest Dental Implant and Oral Biologics manufacturers such as Straumann, Neodent and Maxxeus. 

Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Haroon finds joy in spending time with her family in New Jersey. She appreciates the beauty of nature and seeks adventure through outdoor activities such as hiking and white-water rafting. Driven by her passion for both her profession and personal experiences, she brings a well-rounded approach to her dental practice.
